Volunteers are essential to Legion Nationals, and this national competition offers many ways to get involved. As a volunteer, you’ll help elevate youth track and field, support the development of young athletes, and experience Canada’s top U16 and U18 talent up close. It’s also an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience for anyone interested in athletics or event management. Training is provided.
If you enjoy working with young people, have a recent police records check, are physically fit, and can commit for the full duration of the competition, the Legion wants you as a Team Chaperone. Each Provincial Command may appoint up to four chaperones—who should be Legion members—including one designated head chaperone. Chaperones must be able to meet the physical and supervisory demands of the role, ensuring the safety, organization, and well-being of their athletes throughout the event.
