“The Legion remains the most important face-to-face contact for our Veterans”.

Feb 7, 2014
The Legion is committed to ensuring you have access to all the care and support you need.

Erin O’Toole, a veteran of 12 years himself and the Conservative MP for Durham, Ont., remarked . . . when he stood in the House of Commons . . . “The Legion remains the most important face-to-face contact for our Veterans6.

With over 1460 Legion Branches across Canada in urban and rural areas, the Legion has highly trained and specialized volunteer and Command Service Officers dedicated to helping all Veterans, serving and retired, access the care and support they deserve. Our Service Officers assist Veterans in understanding what help is available and how best to get it. We are your boots on the ground support across this country. If you are a Veteran or family member of a Veteran needing help such as understanding your benefits, filling out Veterans Affairs Canada forms or  navigating the claims and appeals process with Veterans Affairs Canada, we are here for you.

The Legion is committed to ensuring you have access to all the care and support you need. We advocate on your behalf and work to ensure the government meets your needs. Every day we help individual Veterans get the help they deserve.

We encourage all Veterans to contact your local Legion Branch, your Provincial Command, or Dominion Command7 if you need help.
