Trevor Jenvenne
Dominion Vice-President
Trevor Jenvenne chairs the Dominion Command Sports Committee and is a member of other committees including Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services (RCEL), Budget, and Going Forward. He is a representative on the US and Europe Zones Committee. He is a member of Legion Branch #164 in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba.
- Acts as the Manitoba/Northwest Ontario OSI representative on its Provincial Executive Committee, and a member of that Command’s Veterans, Service and Seniors (VSS) and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) committees.
- Joined the national BSO Legion OSI Special Section in January 2019; has served as both its Vice President, and President.
- Attended his first Dominion Executive Council meeting in November 2021 and has previously served on the Dominion Command Veterans, Service, and Seniors Committee.
- Works as a 2Lt. with the Cadet instructor Cadre in Beausejour, Manitoba.
- Member of the Veteran’s Affairs Minister’s Advisory Group on Mental Health.
- Involved in The Burns Way for the past several years including as a member of the “Mentors Group,” currently becoming a Peer Support Volunteer.
- Joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in November 2000; served 20 years in “D” Division in General Duty, Traffic Services, and with the IBET Section in Federal Policing; medically discharged in November 2020.
- Awarded the RCMP Long Service Medal.
- Joined the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in November 2017 at Beausejour Manitoba.
- Works as a small-scale farmer in Lac du Bonnet Manitoba, and is an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, and considers himself a “fanatical” Blue Bombers and Winnipeg Jets fan.
- Is Métis and follows the traditional teachings of the Ojibway of Eastern Manitoba. He has participated in two sun dances as a dancer, and in several others as a singer.
