John (Jack) MacIsaac

Dominion Vice-President

Dominion Vice-President Jack MacIsaac serves on several Dominion Command committees including as Chair of the Membership committee, and as a member of the Budget, Going Forward, Poppy and Remembrance and Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League committees.

He is also the Dominion Executive Council representative for the Legion’s Western United States Zone.

Jack first joined the Legion in Nova Scotia in 1991. He has been highly involved at the local and provincial, and national levels.

  • First named as an interim Dominion Vice President in 2024.
  • Immediate Past President of the Legion’s Prince Edward Island Command.
  • Elected as Vice-President of PEI Command in 2019, First Vice-President in 2021, and President in 2022.
  • Former President and First Vice-President of Branch 1, Charlottetown, PEI. Also served in numerous positions including as Poppy Chair.
  • Originally became a member of Branch 98 in Kingston, NS in 1991, then moved back home to PEI in 2014 and transferred to Branch 1 in Charlottetown.
  • Retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force in 2010 after 33 years of service.
  • Resides in Johnstons River PEI with wife Patricia. They have one son who lives with his spouse in the Halifax area.
