DIRECTOR OF SUPPLY SALES AND MERCHANDISING

The Royal Canadian Legion National Headquarters, located in Kanata ON, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our National Head Office team as Director, Supply Sales and Merchandising overseeing the sale and distribution of Poppy related products/merchandise both within our organization and to the Canadian public.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services and Strategic Planning, the Director will be responsible for developing the strategy, aligning resources, and executing to drive profitable channel growth. This will include responsibility for day-to-day retail operations, including procurement, warehousing and logistics. This full-time position leads a team of 7 employees and requires on-site work 5 days a week.

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, ecommerce, or related specialization.
  • Minimum 5-7 years retail sales management experience in a multi-channel ecommerce business environment with experience in product merchandising and user interactions.
  • Experience building and implementing digital growth plans encompassing a strategic vision and detailed executions.
  • Proven ability to own the business process through a complex sales environment involving trade, price, and joint business negotiations all with a focus on ROI.
  • Leadership experience managing warehousing and logistics.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer and account management.
  • Experience building a customer base accounting for profitable sales growth, revenue targets and new and core item introductions/distribution.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills. 
  • Bilingualism an asset

ADMINISTRATION COORDINATOR – CORPORATE SERVICES

The Royal Canadian Legion National Headquarters, located in Kanata ON, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Corporate Services team and provide administration support to multiple layers of our organization including numerous National programs, Annual Ceremonies, Meetings and Conventions. 

The Administration Coordinator will work directly with the Director of Corporate Services and Strategic Planning to assist in day-to-day operations, including administrative support for multiple programs and projects.  This full-time position requires on-site work 5 days a week.

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 5 years progressive administrative experience supporting multiple projects and high-performance teams
  • 3-5 years experience in program management support
  • Experience researching, developing, and implementing policies and procedures
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external to the company while building relationships across diverse groups
  • Excellent research, analysis, and administrative skills
  • A customer centric approach who is highly flexible and easily adaptable to change
  • Excellent organizational skills along with a passion for impeccable attention to detail
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills
  • University Degree preferred
  • Bilingualism an asset
