The act of Remembrance is one of the most important ways to honour and thank Veterans for their sacrifices.
The Royal Canadian Legion is committed to ensuring Canadians never forget. We remember Canadian Veterans from all conflicts, as well as those who have made sacrifices on the home-front. Our mission is to ensure Canada never forgets the sacrifices
of our Canadian Armed Forces, RCMP, Peace Officers, Merchant Navy, and Reserves. We also remember our military families— the mothers, fathers, sons and daughters of Canadian Veterans.
Observe Remembrance Day
On November 11, we pause for 2 minutes to remember, whether we are working, sitting in our living room, or standing at a national ceremony.
Wear The Poppy
When we wear a lapel poppy, we tell the world that we'll never forget the sacrifices our Veterans made.
We remember Veterans every day of the year, in many ways.
Remembrance is one of the ways we make a
difference in a Veteran’s life. There are other ways too.
