1. Sponsor and Administrator
This contest (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored and administered
by The Royal Canadian Legion Dominion Command, 86 Aird Place, Ottawa,
Ontario, K2L 0A1 (the “Sponsor” and “Administrator”).
2. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open to those, who at the time of entry,
were legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their
province or territory of residence.
Employees, officers, and directors of Ford Motor Company of
Canada, Limited (“Ford”) or the Ford National Dealers Advertising Association
(“FDAA”), and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional
agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, or sibling) and
persons living in the same household as such individuals, are not eligible.
Employees, officers, and directors of The Royal Canadian
Legion Dominion Command and The Royal Canadian Legion Provincial Commands, elected
or appointed members of the Dominion Executive Council or of a Provincial
Executive Council, members of a Command committee individuals directly involved
in the administration of the Sweepstakes, and the immediate family members or
persons residing in the same household as such individuals, are not eligible.
By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants are deemed to agree to
be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Failure to adhere to the Terms and
Conditions will result in disqualification of any submitted entries. The
Sponsor reserves the right to determine if an entry is invalid at any stage at
its sole discretion.
3. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. ET on November 25,
2025, and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on December 19, 2026 (“Sweepstakes
Period”).
4. How to Enter
There are two ways to participate. Entrants may qualify
under either A or B:
A. Member
Entry Track (up to a maximum of 3 entries per member)
There
is a limit of three entries per person for the duration of the Sweepstakes
Period for those who are entered under the Member Entry Track.
Entrants will receive one (1) entry (and only one
entry) for each of the following actions completed during the Sweepstakes
Period:
1. Members
who pay to renew their membership for the 2026 or 2027 year, depending on their
current status:
o Paid
2025 members must renew for 2026: Active paid
2025 members must renew their Legion membership for the 2026 year at the 2026
rates by December 19, 2026 to be eligible and to receive an entry. Lifetime
Members will automatically be eligible and receive this initial contest entry;
or
o Members
who pay to join for 2026: Any new member who pays to join for the 2026 year
before the Free Membership promotion is offered will automatically be eligible
and receive this initial contest entry; or
o New
free 2026 members must renew for 2027: Starting January 5, 2026, after becoming
a new (free) Centenary member of The Royal Canadian Legion at legion.ca/join,
they must renew their Legion membership for the 2027 year at the 2027 rates by
December 19, 2026.
2. Members
who make a donation to the Poppy Fund at legion.ca/donations using
the email address associated with their Legion Membership Profile during the
Sweepstakes Period are eligible, provided they renewed their membership and it
has been processed by Dominion Command before the donation is made. Only valid
email addresses associated with a Legion membership number will be eligible. No
additional entry will be included for a second or subsequent donation during the
Sweepstakes Period.
3. Members
who make a purchase directly from the Legion's store by using poppystore.ca and using their Legion Membership number or the email address associated with
your Legion Membership Profile during the Sweepstakes Period are eligible,
provided they renewed their membership and it has been processed by Dominion
Command before the purchase is made. Only valid email addresses associated with
a Legion membership number will be eligible. No additional entry will be
included for a second or subsequent purchase during the Sweepstakes Period.
B. Free Mail-in Entry Track (1 entry) – for
non-Members only
Mail-in entries are limited to one per person.
Individuals who do not wish to
become a member may download the official mail-in entry form, complete
it by hand, and mail it to the address below.
Mail-in entry must include your
full name, mailing address, email address, phone number, a 50-100 word explanation
on why supporting Veterans matters, and the correct answer to a skill-testing
question.

Mail-in entry is not available to
paid Legion members. Members may not enter via mail.
Individuals who mail in their
entry are not eligible to receive additional entries under the Member
Entry Track.
Mailed entries must be postmarked
no later than December 19, 2026, and received by January 5, 2027.
The Administrator is not responsible for entries that are delayed, lost, or
undeliverable due to mail strikes or other postal disruptions.
Photocopied, mechanically
reproduced, or bulk-mailed entries will not be accepted.
5. Prize
One (1) Grand Prize: Winner receives:
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): up
to CAD $60,000 depending on model, trim, and availability. This includes costs for destination &
delivery and air tax fees, select dealer chosen upgrades, dealer preparation,
fuel fill charge, dealer administrative charges, and sales taxes.
Prize Conditions:
- Prize
must be accepted as awarded; no substitutions or cash equivalent.
- Winner
is solely responsible for any and all other incidental costs, expenses,
including but not limited to all applicable taxes, insurance,
registration, licensing, and delivery.
- Vehicle
must be claimed from an authorized Canadian Ford dealership (the “Delivery
Site”). The winner should allow reasonably sufficient time after receipt
of the fully executed Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity
Release by the Sponsor, or its designees, for notification that the Grand
Prize is at the Delivery Site for pickup (“Delivery Notice”). The winner
of the Grand Prize must take possession of the vehicle within 30 days of
such Delivery Notice or the Grand Prize will be forfeited and there will
be no liability of the Sponsor or the FDAA in the event this occurs. The
winner of the Grand Prize shall bear any risk of loss or damage to the
vehicle after it has been delivered to the Delivery Site.
- The
winner of the Grand Prize must have satisfactory proof of insurance in
order to take possession of the Grand Prize.
- The
FDAA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to make substitutions
that include but are not limited to a different colour or configuration
than advertised and to substitute a different trim or model year of the
same vehicle model, or if that model is unavailable, another vehicle of
comparable type and of equal or greater value (based on Manufacturer’s
Suggested Retail Price).
6. Winner Selection and Notification
One (1) potential winner will be randomly selected by the
Administrator, or its representative, from all entries received, on or about January
11, 2027, in Ottawa, Ontario. Each
entry will be assigned a number. The winner will be selected by use of a random
number generated electronically.
To be declared the winner, the selected entrant must:
- Correctly
answer a mathematical skill-testing question without assistance;
- Sign
and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release
within 7 days of notification; and
- Be
verified as eligible per these rules.
- Agree,
as a condition of winning the Grand Prize, to be featured in public
announcements as the winner and to be available for any promotional
activities related to the Sweepstake.
If a selected entrant cannot be contacted, fails to respond
within 5 business days, or does not meet all conditions, an alternate winner will
be selected.
7. Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible
entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
8. Prize Supplier
By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant acknowledges and
agrees that the FDAA’s sole and exclusive role in the Sweepstakes is that of
Prize supplier and that the FDAA is in no way responsible for the
administration of the Sweepstakes or the selection of winners and that all such
responsibility rests with the Sponsor.
9. Personal Information and Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with this
Sweepstakes will be used by the Sponsor for the purpose of administering the
Sweepstakes and awarding the prize. By entering the Sweepstakes through a
purchase, donation, or membership transaction, entrants are considered to have
provided implied consent under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and
may receive promotional communications from The Royal Canadian Legion for a
period of up to two (2) years following the transaction date.
Entrants who submit a mail-in entry without making a
transaction will not be contacted for marketing purposes unless they
provide express consent.
Entrants may withdraw consent and unsubscribe from marketing
communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in emails or by
contacting the Legion directly.
Personal information will not be sold or shared with third
parties, except as required to administer the Sweepstakes or as permitted by

10. General Conditions
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify
the Sweepstakes or any part of it, if fraud, technical failures, or any other
factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as
determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.
The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal,
provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
11. Release of Liability
By entering or participating in the Sweepstakes, each
entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, FDAA, Ford Motor
Company of Canada, Limited, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries,
advertising and promotion agencies, representatives and all others entities
associated with the development, execution and administration of the Sweepstakes,
and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents
(collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability whatsoever
from injury, loss, death or damage of any kind resulting from participation in
the Sweepstakes and/or from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize.
12. Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the Sponsor
and FDAA, or any of their respective designees, may use the winner’s name, city
of residence, photograph, likeness, biographical information, prize
information and/or statements about this Sweepstakes
for advertising and/or publicity purposes in any and all media now or hereafter
known throughout the world in perpetuity without compensation, notification, or
permission, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
