Yet today, Canada’s Veterans are struggling with the Government’s inaction to save our Afghan brothers and sisters in arms who have been left to fend for themselves under threat of Taliban retaliation, torture and death. Canadian Premier League Supports The Royal Canadian Legions Coast to Coast

Players with all eight CPL teams will wear match-day jerseys featuring the Poppy to thank Canada’s veterans for preserving the freedoms we enjoy today.
The Royal Canadian Legion announces 2021-2022 National Silver Cross Mother

The Royal Canadian Legion is honoured to name this year’s National Silver Cross Mother, Mme Josée Simard of Les Méchins, Québec. She will place a wreath at the National War Memorial in Ottawa on Remembrance Day and will represent all Silver Cross Mothers across Canada until October 2022.

One hundred years after the Poppy became the nation’s symbol of Remembrance, The Royal Canadian Legion has launched its 2021 National Poppy Campaign. Close to 20 million poppies are expected to be distributed this year.
“Pay Tribute” boxes to offer touchless donation during National Poppy Campaign

Donors will once again have the option of touchless donation during The Royal Canadian Legion’s 2021 National Poppy Campaign which begins on October 29. After the pilot project introduction of the HSBC “Pay Tribute” electronic boxes in 2020, an updated version of the boxes will be released for the 2021 campaign.
Legion Presents “The Immortal Poppy”

The Royal Canadian Legion unveils “The Immortal Poppy” in 2021, to help mark the 100th anniversary of the poppy as the symbol of Remembrance in Canada. This digital art is another way to preserve the memory of 118,000 fallen Canadian soldiers dating back to 1812, by encrypting their names on an enduring digital symbol.
